The 21st Century Learning @ Hong Kong conference brings educators from within and beyond the region together to interact with ideas and experiences designed to make them better prepared, informed and enthused to be able to bring out the best in the digital native learners they influence.

About 21CLHK Organization

21st Century Learning Hong Kong is a education non-profit in Hong Kong focused on promoting sharing of best practice 21st Century Learning. 21CLHK has hosted four education conferences in Hong Kong and was founded as a non-profit in 2011.

Director of Technology @Hong Kong International School. The Technology Director at HKIS is responsible for both the the teaching and learning side of technology as well as the intrastructure and operations. I'm passioniate about both aspects of the job and believe one would not work without the other. 

Current projects include: 1:1 program from grades 5-12; Development of in-house curriculium & learning management system (myDragonNet); innovative classoom design.

Justin is a New Zealand and Australian citizen and has lived in Hong Kong for 14 years.

 Paul McMahon (pmcmahon@21clk.org)

Paul has been involved in Education and Innovative Teaching and Learning methodologies his entire working life. He holds a Master's Degree Science and Mathematics Education from Curtin University of Technology where he studied application of digital resources to learning. As a former Director of Technology for a school of 1200, Paul implemented a one to one laptop program in the 1990s.

He currently supports schools across Asia using an online product.


The 21CL@HK conferences are Paul's opportunity to connect with other passionate educators and soak up the buzz of conversing with great thought leaders sharing amazing ideas.

 Paul White (paulwhite@21clk.org)

 Learning Technology Adviser @ English Schools Foundatrion Hong Kong. Responsible for supporting Learning Technology across 21 schools.

Current projects include: Supporting schools with 1:1 laptop rollouts; Helping schools use Moodle for blended learning;   Developing the use of iPads and iTouches across the foundation.

Paul was previously Director of Technology at the New International School of Thailand where he introduced a whole school 1:1 Tablet Laptop program
